Donald J. Trump, MD began in 2016 as Trumperoids, when we thought he was merely a pain in the ass. We were wrong. He has proven to be something far worse: a cancer on society.

We believe Trump is a real threat to democracy, freedom, human rights, equality, social cohesion and international stability, and to the welfare of our country and all its people.

He has openly incited hatred against Muslims, immigrants, women and the disabled, among just about everyone else. He sets Americans against one another, treats public office as a family business, and leaves allies and the world less safe.

History has shown us what happens when people refuse to stand against hate-filled leaders.

We pledge to speak out in every way possible against the politics of hate, division and exclusion he represents, and for an egalitarian society in which everyone counts equally.
